Andrea
Waters-Winston
Creative Director
Andrea Waters-Winston continues to seek contemporary artists who are inspired to share their stories through the use of their God given talents of writing and/or visual arts.
Andrea believes that everyone has a story to tell and often some of the most inspiring stories are left untold to those in need of inspiration.  Andrea’s purpose driven goal is to assist authors and artists in creating a legacy that can be published for the masses to read and view on mobile devices.  This drives her to use the gifted resource of technology to eliminate several barriers of sharing literature across generations of people.
Andrea started her career in nurturing and cultivating the talents of her students in 1995 as an elementary teacher in an urban school district.  During her last year of teaching she wrote technology rich Units/Lesson Plans for the Georgia Department of Education.  After 8 years of teaching and designing engaging technology rich lessons, Andrea joined the Learning Technologies Department in Atlanta Public Schools.  In 2006, Andrea became the Lead Trainer for the Learning Technologies Department.  As the Lead Trainer, in conjunction with several educational technology vendors, Andrea has coordinated a series of professional learning opportunities for educators to receive job embedded professional development.  In December of 2007, Andrea was selected to be the Acting Director and eventually the official Director for approximately 5 years.  After gaining a wealth of experience as the Director of the Learning Technologies Department, Andrea courageously transitioned into her current role as a consultant and entrepreneur in the ePublishing and content creation industry.  Andrea has an extraordinary commitment to provide publishing opportunities for “everyday artists with amazing talents.”
In Andrea’s leisure time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, reading, jogging, and people watching.
